Sessions & limits

How long each credential lives, what gets rate-limited, and how to get a longer session when you genuinely need one.

Credential lifetimes

CredentialLifetimeNotes
Session token (CLI setup file)72 hoursThe admin sign-out timer. When it expires, re-run the setup file — same file, fresh session.
No-logout session29 days rollingGranted per person by an admin on request — for scheduled jobs and heavy daily users. Request it from Session & login.
OAuth access token1 hourRefreshes itself silently — you never notice.
OAuth refresh token30 days, rotatingEvery refresh returns a new one and kills the old. Effectively permanent while the app is in regular use.
Email one-time codes10 minutesSingle use — login OTP, key reveal, password reset.
OAuth authorization code60 secondsSingle use, PKCE-bound. Your tool consumes it instantly.

Rate limits

WhatLimitWhen you hit it
MCP tool calls60 / minute per user (admin-adjustable)Calls refuse briefly — wait a few seconds. Ask broader questions instead of looping a call per row.
Email codesa few / hour per purposeKey-reveal and login codes are capped to stop guessing. Wait for the window to pass.

Getting a no-logout session

  1. Open Session & login and hit Request no-logout, with a one-line reason.
  2. An admin approves or denies it from Session control — you'll see the state on the same page.
  3. Once granted, your current and future sessions stop hitting the sign-out timer (capped at a 29-day rolling window, inside the OAuth refresh window on purpose).
  4. An admin can revoke it at any time, which drops you back to the normal timer — nothing breaks, you just sign in again.

CLI users can also do this without the browser: the request_no_logout and get_my_session_setting tools work from any connected AI tool.

Response size

Some reference tools can return very large tables on big accounts. Filters (campaign, date range, client, marketplace) shrink responses by orders of magnitude and make your AI faster and cheaper — prefer a filtered question over "give me everything".
